Every division, one package.
Unlike a single-trade package, this was a general contractor's full building takeoff. Each division was quantified separately so the GC could distribute scopes to their subcontractors without re-cutting the numbers.
- Architectural
- Structural
- Mechanical
- Electrical
- Plumbing
This scope sits outside our ten standardised trade packages — those cover Divisions 03, 07, 08 and 09. Full multi-division building takeoffs are quoted per project.
What was measured.
A two-storey technology education center, taken off in full and returned in the file formats the client's team already worked in.
- Bluebeam Revu
- Microsoft Excel
The client's existing process. No new software for their team to learn.
Five days for the whole building.
P2C completed the total takeoff in five days, at a cost to the client of less than half what the same package would have cost run through their in-house estimators.
Those estimators were freed up to handle the more complex, higher-level estimating work that actually needed their judgement — rather than spending a week measuring.
Efficiency
A full five-division takeoff on a 66,000 SF building, completed in five days from receipt of drawings.
Cost-Effectiveness
Under half the cost of resourcing the same multi-division package through the client's own team.
Capacity Released
In-house estimators redirected to complex, higher-level work instead of routine measurement.

Send the drawing set and your bid date. An estimator confirms which divisions are in scope before work starts, and flags drawing conflicts rather than guessing past them.
